Self-clinching nuts provide load bearing threads in thin sheets.

High push-out and torque-out resistance.

Used where sheets are too thin for normal tapping operations.

Installed by placing them in correctly sized holes in sheets and applying a parallel squeezing force, usually with a press.

Applying pressure causes the parent material to flow into the specially designed under head configuration offering a load bearing and torque resistant joint.
