Hexagon Bolts Metric

The most common type of fastener, the DIN 931 hexagon head bolt is always partly threaded unlike the DIN 933 set screw which is always fully threaded. Hexagon heads are designed to be tightened with a standard spanner or ratchet and socket, allowing higher torque values to be applied compared to other drive types.
