Aerotight Self Locking Nuts

Aerotight nuts are a slotted or split beam type of hexagon all metal locking nut. Manufactured in the UK with the Aerotight trademark. Undersize threaded sections on top portion of nut mean that when tightened into position the undersize section is forced outward creating high friction and a more secure fitment. Aerotight nuts are a locking nut suitable for use in higher temperatures where the nylon insert in a nyloc nut would melt.
